Does the Option to Keep Explanted Orthopaedic Trauma Implants Influence Patient Satisfaction and Perception of Care? Results of a Survey Study

Abstract: Objective: Orthopaedic trauma implants may be electively explanted after fracture healing; reasons include symptomatic implants, cosmetic/functional concerns, or personal expectations.
