Does the Frequency of Acute Cholecystitis Decrease During the Ramadan Month?

Abstract: The pathophysiological mechanism of acute cholecystitis (AC), which is essentially the inflammation of the gallbladder, is blockage of the cystic duct, and its most common cause is gallstones.
