Does obesity influence the outcome of the patients following cardiac arrest?

Abstract: requirements (p¼<0.01). When patients received an initial dietitian review on day 1 of admission, they were also more likely to achieve nutrition requirements (p¼<0.01). Documented reasons for delayed EN commencement or failure to achieve nutritional requirements were airway management, procedural requirements and waiting for dietitian review.
