Abstract:This study explores the cultural ecosystem services of sacred forests in urban areas, focusing on the Meiji‐Jingu Shrine's forest in Japan. We assessed the forest's sublimity and landscape perceptions among Japanese and Chinese visitors using a mixed‐method approach.
