Does Hyperthermic Intraperitoneal Perfusion Affect the Outcome After Cytoreductive Surgery?

Abstract: Outcomes of hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemoperfusion (HIPEC) added to cytoreductive surgery were studied in experimental and clinical settings. 32 female Wistar rats with peritoneal carcinomatosis were used in the experiment.
