Abstract: This study investigates how the positive phase of the El Niño-Southern Oscillation (EN) influences the Madden-Julian Oscillation (MJO) modulation of cool-season North Pacific atmospheric rivers (ARs) and associated AR-landfall driven precipitation over North America.
