Doctoral Level Internships in Counseling: Should APGA Accredit Them?

Abstract: If one accepts the assumption that accreditation indicates at least minimum standards of training and competency, then it seems appropriate for APGA to begin accrediting internship training sites. This article argues in favor of such accreditation.
