Dobutamine stress echocardiography in the exploration of the pathophysiology of takotsubo syndrome

Abstract: The pathophysiology underlying takotsubo syndrome (TTS) remains elusive. TTS is triggered by emotional/physical stresses, administered catecholamines/sympathomimetics, and during dobutamine (DB) stress echocardiogram (ECHO) testing (DSE).
