The study is conducted on comparative analyses of public & private banking sector of Pakistan, with the focus upon leadership styles and employees job performance. To assess the effects of leadership style on job performance of employees of public and private banking sectors, are the major objectives. Secondly, to assess effect of leadership style on job performance of female’s and male’s employees in both sectors. Study is quantitative in nature and conducted upon employees of Govt and private banking sector of Punjab. Information was collected from 200 employees of the banking sector, i.e. 100 each respondent from private and Govt baking sectors. Google document an online platform is used to approach targeted respondents from population. Positive effects of leadership style were found on job performance of male’s employees, as compared to female employees. It is concluded that leadership styles have substantial effects upon the job performance of rural workers of banking sector, and leadership styles have more impact upon private sector banking employees as compared to public sector. From results, it is concluded that such types of studies are vital and must be conducted at large scale with some other factors.

PurposeA food delivery app (FDA) is a technological advancement connecting restaurants and consumers, making it possible to deliver food home conveniently. The current study seeks to identify the factors affecting consumers' continuance intention and sharing intention toward the FDA in the USA and Canada using an integrated framework built using trust transfer theory and a variety of constructs.Design/methodology/approachThe authors collected data/inputs from 476 respondents in the USA and Canada who had used FDAs in the past and analyzed them using the structural equation modeling technique.FindingsThe results indicate that trust in FDA, trust in the user community and commitment affect continuance intention and sharing intention. Interestingly, trust in the seller does not influence commitment, continuance intention and sharing intention. Additionally, the trust disposition and reputation of the FDA play an important role in building trust in FDA.Research limitations/implicationsThe present study combines the trust transfer theory with various important constructs such as commitment, trust disposition and reputation of the FDA to build an integrated framework to elucidate the continuance intention and sharing intention toward FDAs.Practical implicationsThis study facilitates the FDA providers to understand how trust disposition, the reputation of the FDA and trust in the Internet build trust among FDA consumers. The study also helps them to fine-tune their trust-building strategy by considering several trust targets. It further enables them to appreciate how commitment results in continuance intention and sharing intention toward FDA.Originality/valueIt is an original study investigating the role of various constructs and trust transfer theory in shaping the consumers' continuance intention and sharing intention toward the FDA.

This study examines the impact of the barrier of adopting hybrid strategy on strategic performance using the oil sector in Iraq as a case. International oil companies consider various strategies in order to achieve superior performance. The procedure needs to overcome certain essential barriers for the adoption of the hybrid strategy that combines the cost leadership and differentiation strategy. The questionnaire was distributed online due to the COVID-19 pandemic that led to the closure of companies in the country. Out of the 537 questionnaires answered, 483 were used for further analysis which yielded usable response rate of 90%. The structural equation modeling results confirmed that the high costs of technologies, the priority of other external matters, inadequate industry regulation, insufficient supply, organizational capabilities, strategic capabilities, and financial capabilities are significantly related to strategic performance. The researchers recommend conducting an in-depth study of the phenomenon based on theoretical and empirical foundations, especially considering the relationship between the barriers of a hybrid strategy and strategic performance based on linear and non-compensatory relationships. This research sheds light on the barriers to adopting the hybrid strategy required by the oil sector as it relies on continuous production.
