This article aimed to analyze how the works discussed here point to a materialization of biopolitical action in and by educational practices with a greater focus in recent years by neoliberal rationality. For this purpose, researches were found based on the descriptors Curriculum, Governmentality and Education at the electronic addresses of BDTI, SciELO and ANPED. We found 12 theses and dissertations, 19 articles and 07 papers involving these themes. We organized the discussion on five argumentative fronts inspired by the work developed by (Aquino, 2017). The first covers studies of a historiographic nature, then those that highlight the body/health duet, and third, those that discuss sexuality/gender. The latter deal with governmentality and its effects on education, with emphasis on inclusion in the fourth and neoliberalism in the fifth. The final discussions present some considerations regarding the contributions, limits and possibilities of these academic productions.
