Abstract: Gamma radiation-induced gene rearrangements at the Chinese hamster ovary cell locus coding for the purine salvage enzyme adenine phosphoribosyl transferase (APRT) consist of both simple deletions and more complex alterations that are presumably the result of multiple strand breaks.
