Abstract:Preparations of plasmid containing the thymidine kinase gene (pHSV106) were treated with the alkylating agents methyl methanesulphonate or N-methyl-N-nitrosourea prior to transfection into thymidine kinasedeficient mouse L-cells using the DNA-calcium phosphate co-precipitation technique.
