DNA damage in a patient with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus and Nephropathy- A Case Report

Abstract: Objectives: Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) is a complex, multisystem autoimmune inflammatory disease. The inflammatory response in SLE exacerbates oxidative stress which tends to promote lipid peroxidation, protein oxidation and damage to DNA.
