Aggregates of Ag(O 2 CR) are well documented in the literature and are known to form [Ag(O 2 CR)] n aggregates via bridging carboxylate groups (see, for example, Karpova et al, 1999;Zhao et al, 2003;Zhao & Mak, 2005).
