Abstract: Despite modern treatment with microsurgery, irradiation and chemotherapy in primary intraspinal PNETs, local relapse or dissemination in most cases lead to death within a few months. An improvement of treatment outcome can only be achieved by intensification through multidisciplinary treatment.
