Diyabetik Nöropatisi Olan Kişilerde Monosit/HDL Kolesterol Oranı ile Kardiyovasküler Risk Arasındaki İlişki

Abstract: Bu çalışmada diyabetin mikrovasküler komplikasyonlarından olan diyabetik nöropatisi olan hastalarda monosit/HDL kolesterol oranı (MHR)'nin kardiyovasküler risk belirteci olup olamayacağının araştırılması amaçlanmıştır. Dahiliye polikliniğimizdeki Ocak 2018-Eylül 2018 tarihleri arasındaki hastalardan 30 diyabetik nöropatisi (DN) olan diyabetes mellitus (DM) hastası, 29 DN olmayan DM hastası ve aynı yaş ve cinsiyette 30 DM olmayan sağlıklı retrospektif olarak çalışmaya alındı. Yaş, cinsiyet, vücut kitle indeksi … Show more

“…Endothelial dysfunction and atherosclerosis have a significant impact on microvascular and macrovascular complications in patients with diabetes. Diabetic and entrapment neuropathies are the most common among the microvascular complications in diabetic patients [8]. Microangiopathic changes in vasonervorum due to atherosclerosis lead to the development of neuropathy by negatively affecting the nutrition of peripheral nerves.…”

“…It also affects the neuronal membrane lipid content and causes the development of both entrapment neuropathy and polyneuropathy. Hypercholesterolemia, especially high lowdensity lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) has also been associated with fibrinogenesis in many organs and peripheral nerves [8,9].…”

“…It has been suggested that these parameters are associated with the presence and severity of coronary artery disease (CAD) and may predict future coronary events and mortality. [3][4][5][6][7][8][9][10][11] Total antioxidant status (TAS), total oxidant status (TOS), oxidative stress index (OSI), and ischemia-modified albumin (IMA) are oxidative stress parameters. It has been shown that oxidative stress has an important role in the pathogenesis of atherosclerosis and CAD, and high oxidant levels reflect disease severity and vascular damage.…”

“…Diyabetik hastalarda görülen mikrovasküler ve makrovasküler komplikasyonlarda aterosklerozun da önemli etkisi vardır. Ayrıca ileri gliko-oksidasyon son ürünlerinin yol açtığı oksidatif stres ve enflamasyonun da bu komplikasyonlara katkısı olduğu bilinmektedir (8,9). Yapılan çalışmalarda yaş, diyabet süresi DPN için risk faktörü olarak gösterilmiştir.…”
