A classification of the various forms of finer reservoirs is presented in Figure 4, including all the micro and small reservoirs, which usually have a positive or minimal negative impact on the environment (Mioduszewski 2003;Szczykowska et al 2015), while having no or little impact on the amount of power produced by an existing or planned hydroelectric plant. Worldwide, hydropower accounts for about 16% of the electricity production (Anderson et al 2014), which is more than in the case of any other renewable source.…”
