Diversity of Plant Associated Actinobacteria

Abstract: The phylum Actinobacteria encompasses Gram-positive bacteria with a high DNA G+C. In soils, they present multiple lifestyles: rhizosphere saprophytes, endophytes, facultative symbionts and obligate phytopathogens. They play either beneficial or adverse effects towards plants.
