Diversity and Distribution Pattern of Rice Stem Periphyton in Water-Logged Rice Fields under Different Cropping Seasons in Barak Valley, Assam

Abstract: Periphyton play a crucial role in productivity and nutrient cycling in the aquatic ecosystems. They are believed to be an important component of the rice-field ecosystems, and thus have the potential to support integrated aquaculture by acting as food material for cultured fishes.
