Diurnal decline in the photosynthetic capacity of uppermost leaves in an eggplant canopy grown in a horticultural greenhouse

Abstract: Highlights• Diurnal variations in eggplant leaf photosynthetic capacity were investigated • Concurrent measurements of gas exchange and chlorophyll fluorescence were conducted • Vcmax, Jmax, and TPU declined by approximately 15% toward the end of the day
