“…La lagune Ebrié est le système lagunaire le plus important de l'Afrique de l'Ouest. Plusieurs études ont rapporté dans la littérature une contamination métallique importante de la zone urbaine de la lagune Ebrié (Yao et al, 2009;Adama et al, 2012 ;Tuo et al, 2013 ;Kinimo et al, 2018). Cependant, peu d'informations sont disponibles sur les contaminations en ETM des eaux lagunaires en dehors de la zone urbaine.…”

“…After cooling, the solutions were diluted to 50 mL with ultrapure 2% HNO 3 in Teflon tubes and centrifuged at 4000 rpm for 5 min prior analysis of the supernatant. Duplicate blanks were prepared and analyzed with each batch of digested samples [1] .…”

“…Sampling campaigns took place in 2016 during the dry season. The collection of the sediment samples, digestion, and total metal concentration measurements have been described by Kinimo et al (2018). A total of surface sediment samples (0-5 cm) were collected from each site (Fig.1).…”

“…Many investigations have documented the contamination of sediments around mining areas in West Africa, with studies focused in Nigeria (Makinde et al2017;Taiwo et al2017), Senegal (Niane et al2014;Niane et al2019) and Ghana (Sunkari et al2019;Klubi et al2018), but in Côte d'Ivoire, studies are in their infancy. Recently, Kinimo et al (2018) showed that sediments from gold mining area in south-eastern Côte d'Ivoire were contaminated by Cd. In northern Côte d'Ivoire, industrial and artisanal small-scale gold mining activities are also practiced, but no data is available on metals Cu, Ni and Mn concentrations in sediments.…”
