Distribution of D5S818, D7S820, D8S1179, D13S317, D18S51 Alleles in a Central Italian Population Sample

Abstract: Blood samples were obtained from selected and unrelated individuals. DNA was extracted with the standard Chelex® 100 (BioRad, Hercules, CA) extraction procedure (1); DNA samples were amplified in a DNA Gene Amp 9700 (Applied Biosystems, Foster City, CA) using 10 ng of template DNA. The amplified products were detected using the Abi Prism 310 Genetic Analyzer (Applied Biosystems, Foster City, CA).
