Distribution and Ecology of the Mediterranean water shrew (Neomys anomalus Cabrera, 1907) in Belarus

Abstract: В статье обсуждаются поимки особей куторы малой (Neomys anomalus Cabrera, 1907) на территории Беларуси. Анализ находок последних лет (2015, 2018 гг.) дает основание считать, что этот вид землероек имеет гораздо более широкое распространение, чем представляется в настоящее время. Требует пересмотра распространенная точка зрения об обитании куторы малой на особо охраняемых природных территориях. Шумовое загрязнение не является лимитирующим фактором в расселении N. anomalus.
