Distributed Online Optimization for Voltage Control in Low Voltage Distribution Networks

Abstract: In order to reduce the communication burden in online optimization in low voltage distribution networks (LVDNs), a distributed online optimization approach is proposed. Hamilton-Jacobi-Bellman equation and local measurements are integrated to seek the approximation to optimum. Voltage control is implemented as the embodiment of the proposed approach, which is validated in a realistic 103 nodes LVDN.
