Distributed observers design for a class of nonlinear systems to achieve omniscience asymptotically via differential geometry

Abstract: Distributed observers are the framework of fusing observed data by constructing a cooperative observer network. This article renders a scheme of distributed observers for a class of nonlinear system. With this scheme, each local nonlinear observer in the cooperative network can estimate the whole states of the underlying system by their own output measurements and information obtained from their neighbor via communication network. The proposed distributed observers are constructed with Partial Observable Canon… Show more

“…The trajectories are applied into equation S-procedure in Lemma 5. 40 What is called S-procedure is the relationship between of matrices (37) and (39) and the f t ð Þ in equation ( 36) is obtained. We consider for matrices W 1 2 R n 3 n and W 11 2 R n 3 n .…”

“…In the latter article, the system considered is without delays and only the network is an undirected one; using the Lyaponuv functions, it is set out to introduce design algorithms. A related article is Xu et al, 37 which deals with the design of Luenberger-like nonlinearly distributed observer in a graph network. This research study, using weighted matrices, sets out to design parameters.…”

“…24 In the field of state observer, distributed state observer has become a promising research direction with the benefits of distributed sensing and fusion data. 25,26 Restricted to the system observability and allocated in one node, each local observer only acquires partial output information, shares with the neighborhood nodes, and reconstructs the full state information through the framework of cooperative network topology. 27 For a linear system, a distributed Luenberger state estimation is addressed in presence of noise and quantized/rate-constrained transmission.…”
