Abstract:This paper considers a coordinated tracking problem of fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), whose kinematics is described as unicycle type with the constraints of both saturated angular speed and bounded linear velocity. A distributed velocity controller based on the consensus theory is designed such that UAVs can converge to the predefined formation and track the target vehicle, while the velocity constraints are satisfied. Moreover, due to the limitation of measurement range of sensors and communicati… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
