Show more

“…Phosphorus is an integral component of important metabolic and structural compounds in plant cells, acting in cell signaling, transport, and transduction of substrates and chemical energy (Primavesi & Primavesi, 2018;Taiz et al, 2017). Therefore, P availability favors plant growth and development, a fact that can justify the higher yield of oat RDM in the treatments with isolated source and in the mixtures with the presence of TSP, since it is more available to plants, due to its high solubility in water and low residual effect (Dias et al, 2017).…”

“…The significant increase in the accumulation of phosphorus in the aerial part of D. nigra seedlings as a function of CRF doses is another desirable point in the production of quality seedlings. The presence of this nutrient in the plant stimulates the growth of the root system and promotes the increase of the soil area to be explored, favoring the acquisition of water and nutrients (DIAS et al, 2017). Factor that can be useful in programs for the recovery of degraded areas and commercial plantations, since the survival, establishment and good productivity of forest stands are greater with the robust root system (GOMES; PAIVA, 2011).…”

“…The availability of P in soil can stimulate greater formation of fine roots (effective root system) [16]. Thus, these effective roots can favor absorption of other nutrients that may be below the adequate levels in soil for initial development of eucalyptus plants.…”
