Abstract:El Lechuzón Mocho Chico (Pulsatrix koeniswaldiana) es una especie monotípica, endémica de la selva atlántica y una de las de mayor tamaño de ese bioma. Se distribuye en el sureste de Brasil, este de Paraguay y el extremo noreste de Argentina, donde se encuentra en las provincias de Corrientes y Misiones.
