Distinguishable DNA Methylation Defines a Cardiac-Specific Epigenetic Clock

Abstract: BACKGROUND The present study investigates whether epigenetic differences emerge in the heart of patients undergoing cardiac surgery for an aortic valvular replacement (AVR) or coronary artery bypass graft (CABG).
