Distinctive collider signals for a two-Higgs-triplet model

Abstract: The extension of the standard model (SM) with two complex SUð2Þ L scalar triplets enables one to have the Type II seesaw mechanism operative consistently with texture-zero neutrino mass matrices. This framework predicts additional doubly charged, singly charged and neutral spinless states. We show that, for certain values of the model parameters, there is sufficient mass splitting between the two doubly charged states (H AEAE 1 ; H AEAE 2 ) that allows the decay H AEAE 1 → H AEAE 2 h, and thus leads to a uniqu… Show more

“…16 This pair of cell lines have been widely explored with various comparative shotgun and targeted proteomics approaches at the whole proteome and secretome levels to discover potential biomarkers and therapeutic targets for CRC. [17][18][19][20][21][22] To systematically investigate the differential protein expression of small GTPases in the paired SW480/SW620 cells, we employed a previously established targeted proteomic workflow, which involves SILAC, SDS-PAGE fractionation, and scheduled MRM analysis ( Figure 1A). 12 In this vein, we incorporated, into the MRM library, only those tryptic peptides that could be uniquely assigned to specific protein forms of small GTPases proteins.…”

“…However, a single triplet fails to make Type II seesaw scenarios consistent with some widely used zero texture models, in particular, those with two-zero texture. On the contrary, such texture can be reproduced if one has two triplets instead of one, thereby suggesting a scenario whose phenomenological implications have been explored in recent works [55] and the collider signatures of this model have been studied in [56]. With this in mind, we analyze below models both with one and two scalar triplet in the light of the recent Higgs data and the contribution of charged scalar loops (including those from doubly charged scalars) embodied in dimension-6 operators.…”

“…Among many, a charged scalar particle is one of the appealing exotic candidates in particle phenomenology and has been searched for long. Most of the beyond the Standard Model (BSM) scenarios render singly charged scalar candidate and it has always remained an important probe for the models with SM scalar sector extensions [3][4][5][6][7][8][9][10][11]. In this paper, we will talk about probing the Georgi-Machacek (GM) model [12][13][14], a variant of scalar triplet extension of the SM, through the searches of a singly-charged scalar at the current and future LHC run.…”
