Distancia de siembra e intensidad de ataque de Dioryctria horneana (Lepidoptera: Phycitidae) a Pinus cubensis en Guantánamo, Cuba

Abstract: Planting distance and the intensity of Dioryctria horneana (Lepidoptera: Phycitidae) attack on Pinus cubensis in Guatanamo, Cuba. The lepidopteran Dioryctria horneana (Phycitidae) affects Pinus cubensis. For three years startiong February 2009 we studied the effect of planting distanced on the attack. We used three plots of 30 trees each at several planting distances (2x2m; 2,5x2m and 2,5x2,5m). There were three repetitions with a yearly basis. A 2,5x2,5m produced the lowest attack rate.
