Abstract: Purpose: Minimally invasive plate osteosynthesis (MIPO) is used for the treatment of distal tibial fractures, especially in cases of intra-articular fractures. There are many advantages of MIPO, including preservation of blood supply to the fracture site and enhanced bone healing, however, it is not without complication.
