Abstract:An all silica MEL‐type silicalite‐2 nanocrystal is hydrothermally treated in coexistence with cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) and tetrapropylammonium hydroxide (TPAOH) at ordinary and elevated temperatures. From monitoring its structural transition process by various physico‐chemical methodologies, it is found that, instead of simple delamination, silicalite‐2 nanocrystal changes with a dissolution and recrystallization mechanism by treatment at an elevated temperature and for a long time, that is, it is… Show more

Coffin-shaped multilamellar ZSM-5 single crystal (CMZS) composed of orderly stacked 2D nanosheets (70-100nm) was synthesized via the implementation of cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) in the presence of Silicalite-1 seed sol. This...
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
