Dissociation of Gas Hydrates in the Combustion Environment

Abstract: This paper proposes mathematical models of gas hydrate decomposition in high-temperature media. These models are based on heat and mass balances with a set of assumptions about transfer mechanisms and features of chemical reactions. The calculations provide an insight into dynamics of hydrate particles in a flame environment and shed light on possible results of interaction between the combustion front and emission of gas and vapor.
