Disseminated candidiasis. Newer approaches to early recognition and treatment

Abstract: The clinical triad of fever, erythematous papular rash, and diffuse muscle tenderness has recently been reported to be presumptive evidence for disseminated candidiasis in the immunocompromised host who is receiving broad-spectrum antibiotics.
