Abstract:In the eastern Venezuelan Llanos, the drilling fluids composed of wastewater (WW), accompanying hydrocarbons and wastes from oil activity are deposited in a system of waterproofed pits. Later, by means of siphons, the hydrocarbon phase of the WW is separated.
