Displacement Field Due to a Rectangular Tension Crack in a Half-space in Welded Contact with Another Half-space

Abstract: The expressions for the displacements caused by a point tensile dislocation source in a two phase medium are integrated analytically to obtain the displacement field produced by a finite rectangular tensile crack in a homogeneous, isotropic, elastic half-space in welded contact with another elastic half-space.
