Dispersion representation of the D-term form factor in deeply virtual Compton scattering

Abstract: Abstract. We review the dispersion relation formalism for the deeply virtual Compton scattering amplitudes, and derive a dispersive representation of the D-term form factor, using unsubtracted t-channel dispersion relations. Results for the D-term form factor as function of t as well as at t = 0 are shown in comparison with available model predictions and phenomenological parametrizations.

“…The Pacific Ocean Neutrino Experiment (P-ONE) will be a next-generation neutrino telescope located in the Northeast Pacific Ocean. Using the deep sea as a Cherenkov medium, P-ONE aims to detect highly energetic astrophysical neutrinos, complementing the existing or currently underconstruction neutrino telescopes, such as IceCube [1], KM3NeT [2] and GVD Baikal [3]. The scientific objectives of P-ONE range from advancing the field of neutrino astronomy, unraveling astronomical phenomena and fundamental physics at the PeV scale, to providing complementary input and follow-up observations in multi-messenger astronomy.…”
