“…These pre-migratory histories and circumstances of migration may influence health and disability differently, and health differences are often magnified during old age. Yet, despite the diverse flows of migrants into the U.S., and their unique migratory circumstances that might influence health, limited research has studied disability status of different groups of immigrants in the U.S. (Huang et al, 2011; Nkimbeng et al, 2019).
