Abstract:Patients undergoing a revision total hip arthroplasty (THA) are at increased risk for dislocation. The literature suggests dual-mobility components may decrease the frequency of dislocation. We conducted a retrospective study of one type of dual mobility acetabular component implanted in 82 revision THA cases that were considered at increased risk for dislocation.
