Disinfection and removal of human pathogenic bacteria in arctic waste stabilization ponds

Abstract: Wastewater stabilization ponds (WSPs) are commonly used to treat municipal wastewater in Arctic Canada. The biological treatment in the WSPs is strongly influenced by climatic conditions.
