Diseño de un modelo de negocio de reciclaje de equipos de computación para pequeños comerciantes en la ciudad de Guayaquil

Abstract

Abstract-The current study attempts to establish how viable it is to design of a business model for recycling computer equipment for small businesses in Guayaquil (Ecuador) understanding that protecting the environment and sustainable development are allies of the organization en formation which will allow US to DETERMINE and utilize this factor as a grand business opportunity. This startup will address the recycling of computer equipment, developing a plan for operations and finance that will assure the business' economic viability of the business, for which we will elaborate a strategic plan to guarantee the business' sustainability over the long-term, analyzing the socioeconomic impact that the beneficiaries will present. Initially the market study was developed through questionnaires and surveys with medium and large companies located in the center and northern areas of Guayaquil, the ones likely to donate computer equipment. Questionnaires and focus groups were used for small businesses which included hardware stores, paper shops, as well as schools interested in the concept. The business model needs an investment of $24.208, 00 in order to start operations. The actual net value of the project, discounting a rate of 13.36% which grows to $106,897.45, The rate of return obtained in the cash-flow projected over 8 years is 103.36%, which beats the discounted rate of 13,36%. As such, it can be concluded that the Project is viable.
