Diseases of the thyroid gland and the hypothalamo-pituitary-thyroid axis.

Abstract: This chapter discussed the functions of the equine thyroid gland as well as on the hypothalamo-pituitary thyroid axis giving emphasis on the diagnosis and treatment in conditions wherein the disorder of thyroid gland and of the hypothalamo-pituitary axis causes dysfunctions.
