Abstract: Diseases of flounder Platichthys flesus in Dutchcoastal and estuarine waters, with particular reference to environmental stress factors. were diagnosed as hepatocellular carcinoma. Most of the remaining nodules were diagnosed as foci of cellular alteration, whlch are considered to be preneoplastic lesions.
