Discussing the measurements accuracy in judicial geodetic expertise

Abstract

The authors analyze the features of using the requirements for accuracy at performing forensic geodetic inspections. An analogy is drawn with the use of methods regulated in the legislation for cadastral work. The features of the Rosreestr requirements for applying them in the expertise are studied. At the same time, the provisions of the normative document regarding accuracy and the possibilities of its application are considered. It is concluded that scientific achievements in precision terms requirements for the mentioned process can outstrip the law. In addition, changing the interpretation of existing standards can make significant shifts in the current reality. It is also important that practice (experiment), as the main criterion for judgments, can provide additional conclusions which should be updated in the scientific and legal literature
