Discrimination, freedom of expression and two concepts of liberty: Assessing European legislation criminalizing hate speech

Abstract: Hate speech has been linked to categorization, stereotyping and discrimination challenges. Moreover, it presents an intersection of criminal law, criminology, philosophy of law and psychology.
