Discriminating betweenCPand family transformations in the bilinear space of theN-Higgs-doublet model

Abstract: The scalar potential of the N -Higgs-doublet model (NHDM) is best analyzed not in the space of N complex doublets φa but in the N 2 -dimensional space of real-valued bilinears constructed of φ † a φ b . In particular, many insights have been gained into CP violation in the 2HDM and 3HDM by studying how generalized CP transformations (GCPs) act in this bilinear space. These insights relied on the fact that GCPs, which involved an odd number of mirror reflection, could be clearly distinguished from Higgs family … Show more

“…In general, models with an extended Higgs sector can give a noticeable EDM of electrons due to the loop diagrams with t-quarks [127]. A very interesting discussion of the group-theoretic properties of the CPnonconservation in the multi-doublet Higgs sector is presented in a series of publications by Ivanov (see [128,129] and references therein).…”
