Abstract: Hurler syndrome, a type of Mucopolysaccharidosis type I, is an inherited disorder caused by the accumulation of glycosaminoglycans (GAG) due to a deficiency in lysosomal α-L-iduronidase (IDUA), resulting in multiorgan dysfunction.
