“…In this study, the geochronology and geochemistry of one intermediate pluton and two granitic plutons from a magmatic belt between the MSX and HNX ophiolitic belts (Figure c) are investigated to determine their ages and petrogenesis. These data are then integrated with previous studies of Late Paleozoic granites in the region (Zhang et al, ; Zheng et al, ) in order to constrain the tectonic evolution of the eastern Beishan area and the closure of the Paleo‐Asian Ocean.
