“…α-Aminobutyric acid is one of three isomers of aminobutyric acid that is also known as homoalanine, which is a metabolite of isoleucine biosynthesis. Isoleucine has been reported as a biomarker for the risk of T2DM and metabolic syndrome [20,30].
